Privacy

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The use of contact data published within the framework of the imprint obligation by third parties for the purpose of sending advertising and information material not expressly requested is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam mails.

Categories of data, purpose of processing and legal basis

In the context of cooperation with business partners, we process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Communicating with business partners about products and services, e.g. to process enquiries from the business partner;
  • Planning, implementing and managing the (contractual) business relationship between us and the business partner, e.g. to process orders for products and services, collect payments, for accounting, billing and debt collection purposes and to carry out deliveries, maintenance activities or repairs;
  • To comply with legal requirements (e.g. tax and commercial law retention obligations),

For the above purposes, we may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact information, such as first and last name, business address, business telephone number, business mobile number, business fax number and business email address;
  • Payment data, such as information required for the processing of payment transactions,
  • Further information whose processing is required within the framework of a contractual relationship with us

The processing of personal data is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, including the implementation of the (contractual) business relationship with the business partner. The legal basis for the data processing is - unless expressly stated otherwise - Article 6 (1) (b) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation or the consent expressly given by you (Article 6 (1) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

Transmission and disclosure of personal data

We work together with service providers (so-called order processors), such as service providers for IT maintenance services. These service providers only act on our instructions and are contractually obliged to comply with the applicable data protection requirements.

Storage periods

If no explicit storage period is specified at the time of collection (e.g. as part of a declaration of consent), your personal data will be deleted insofar as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored, unless legal storage obligations (e.g. obligations under commercial and tax law) prevent deletion.

Right to information, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, right to object and right to data portability

Under applicable data protection law, you may have the right:

  • Request confirmation as to whether we are processing personal data about you and obtain information about the personal data we are processing and other information,
  • request the rectification of inaccurate personal data,
  • request the erasure of personal data processed by us,
  • obtain personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or request that the personal data be transferred to a third party; or
  • object to the processing of your personal data by us.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Revocability of declarations of consent given

If you have given us consent to process your personal data, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future, i.e. the revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent before the revocation.

1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time you access a website, the web server only automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the access, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the access.

This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring trouble-free operation of the site and improving our services. In accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests. All access data is deleted at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Hosting services by a third-party provider
As part of processing on our behalf, a third-party provider provides hosting and website presentation services for us. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which are outweighed by a balance of interests. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the framework explained here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

3. Data collection and use for contract processing and when opening a customer account

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us in the context of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail) or when opening a customer account. Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we need the data to process the contract, or to process your contact or open a customer account, and you cannot complete the order and/or open an account or send the contact without providing it. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for the purpose of processing the contract and dealing with your enquiries. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.

4. Data disclosure

In order to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account with them. In this case, you must register with the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. In this respect, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

5. Cookies and web analysis

In order to make visiting our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your terminal device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can find out how long they are stored in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. You can find these for the respective browsers under the following links:

If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

This website also uses the so-called DoubleClick cookie as part of the application of Google Analytics (see below), which enables recognition of your browser when visiting other websites. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in optimal marketing of our website, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The information automatically generated by the cookie about your visit to this website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The IP address is shortened by activating IP anonymisation on this website before transmission within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Google will use this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website, which prevail within the framework of a balancing of interests. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of Google DoubleClick by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted. Google Double Click is an offer of Google LLC. (www.google.de).

Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for web analysis
For website analysis, this website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (www.google.de). This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of Google Analytics by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

6. Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display a map of the site. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of automatically collected data and data provided by you by Google, one of its agents, or third parties.

The terms of use for Google Maps can be found at terms of use for Google Maps. You can find more details in the data protection centre of google.de: Transparency and choices and Privacy Policy.

7. Advertising via marketing networks

Google AdWords Remarketing
We use Google Adwords to advertise this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. For this purpose, the so-called remarketing cookie is set by Google when you visit our website, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookieID and on the basis of the pages you have visited. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of Google AdWords Remarketing by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Any further data processing will only take place if you have consented to Google linking your web and app browsing history to your Google Account and using information from your Google Account to personalise ads you see on the web. In this case, if they are logged into Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data will be temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data in order to form target groups.

Google AdWords Remarketing is an offer of Google LLC (www.google.de). Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can deactivate the remarketing cookie via this link. In addition, you can obtain information from the Digital Advertising Alliance about the setting of cookies and make settings for this.

Contract data processing

We have concluded an order data processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
